Dear Funday Festivals Community,

I hope this message finds you safe and well. It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you of the postponement of the upcoming festival, which was originally scheduled for October 13th. This decision has not been made lightly but is necessary due to the ongoing devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in Greenville and the surrounding areas.

As many of you are aware, the effects of the hurricane have left much of the region without power, and several families are grieving the loss of loved ones. The safety of our performers, vendors, and participants, many of whom are traveling from across the Southeast, is our top priority. Additionally, the Conestee Nature Preserve, where our festival was to take place, has been closed due to damage.

With the forecast predicting continued hazardous weather, including rain, thunderstorms, and the possibility of Hurricane Kirk heading toward our area, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone the event until Spring 2025.

Please rest assured that your space in the festival will be held and honored for the rescheduled date. As soon as we have confirmation of the new date, which has already been requested, we will notify you immediately.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time. Should you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you in the spring for a safe and successful event.
