Thank you to all our members who made the return of Spicemas possible!

Despite many challenges, our Grenadian traditional and fancy mas bands, an integral part of our carnival, proudly showcased Grenadiana - a celebration of our culture.

As we move on from Spicemas ‘22 and prepare for Spicemas ‘23 and beyond, we recognize the work necessary, in collaboration with Spicemas Corporation and the Ministry of Culture, to ensure that our unique mas is protected and preserved. We look forward to meaningful dialogue with our stakeholders to realize our importance and create a sustainable environment for mas in Grenada.

Spicemas D Return moves to the road on Carnival Monday and Tuesday!

Carnival Monday

Fancy Bands Free Up Monday starts at 1pm from the Belmont traffic lights/Pandy Beach intersection. The Monday route is Kirani James Boulevard, Port Highway and the Carenage.

Carnival Tuesday

The splendor of the Parade of the bands starts at 11am from the Grand Anse Post Office.

On both days, the parade starts with traditional mas followed by the Grenada Mas Band Association Fancy bands, then all other bands. Please contact your respective mas bands for assembly locations.
