HAPPY NEW MONTH!

From rehearsals to the St. Augustine Catholic Church Stage.

We marked the end of September with a celebration of CULTURAL DAY at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Dorowa, Jalingo.

Even nature joineded in the celebration with a heavy downpour, and we also didn't retreat! It was indeed a glorious Day.

Special thanks to the Godwin Yahaya Family for always giving us the platform to showcase Jibə Culture on every occasion in the church.

We are back with full force!
This House of God will never bear a crack by human hands.

Together, we, the children of the almost forgotten kingdom, have vowed to stay united forever!

Long Live Konawood,
Long Live Kona Chiefdom,
Long Live the children of the forgotten Kingdom!

Join us today May 25, 2026, at Victoria Park in Grenville, St. Andrew as we commemorate African Liberation Day under the theme: “African Rooted, Diaspora Rising, Identity Reclaiming.”

I am honoured to serve as the featured speaker for this important occasion as we reflect on the historic founding of the Organization of African Unity and celebrate the enduring connections between Africa, Grenada, the Caribbean and the wider diaspora.

The day will include exhibitions, music, a march through Grenville and a ceremony featuring presentations and reflections on African identity, heritage, liberation and unity.

We are pleased to welcome members of our Nigerian community here in Grenada, along with guests who have travelled from various countries across Africa to commemorate this occasion with us.

I encourage everyone to come out and be part of this meaningful celebration.
