Platform is a brand new theatre society helping students in finding their own ‘platform’. Our a Welcome to Platform, TFTV York's very own Theatre society.

Together students from Writing Directing and Performance, along with Film and TV also let's no forget Interactive Media; all come together to create immerse performance in a professional environment.

2 pm- We have our workshops managers running this weeks workshops to start the day off
4 pm- Eden Harbud, our guest speaker, will be running a Q&A and talking to us about his career.
7 pm- Scratch That, Scratch night! Come along to see some of the TFTI student-written work in our scratch night.

Scratch That is a free online event curated by and for the students of TFTI coming to you on Saturday 20th March. With guest speaker Eden Harbud, workshops and a scratch night there is plenty to get involved with. This is an opportunity to hear some of the writing material our students have been working on, but also a chance to listen to industry professionals and ask them your questions. Book your tickets for the day and we hope to see you all there!

We're very excited to announce the first guest speaker of our Scratch That festival - Eden Harbud! As a puppeteer, theatre maker, actor and dancer, Eden has extensive experience in ensemble devised theatre having toured both nationally and internationally to Peru (TRIBE, Temper Theatre) and Ukraine (Maklena, Night Train Theatre). He graduated from the Curious School of Puppetry in 2019, and shortly after he was the UK representative for UNIMA Russia’s first international puppetry residency programme (Youth in Progress) performing at the “Ryazanskie Smotriny” in Ryazan, Russia. Eden is a founding performer of physical theatre company Temper Theatre and has been involved in all shows to date. Eden’s own company, Nod At The Fox, use audio storytelling and puppetry to make theatre for both adult and family audiences. Their latest audio piece ‘Breaking Up With Reality’ is now on a digital tour and has just been nominated for an Offie award.
