My name is Kath Cryer and I am the reborn artist with the Nursery name of Tiny Blessings here in the UK. I have been reborning since the art form first became popular here about 18 years ago. Those were the days when we worked on the Berenguer and Ashton Drake Dolls, having to strip them of factory paint and hair first and long before the kits began to be produced. Secrist were the first kits whic

h came out I believe and nowadays we are so lucky to have so many beautiful kits made by very talented sculptors, providing us with an amazing blank canvas. I buy my kits from reputable suppliers or from the sculptors themselves and occasionally I still reborn an Ashton Drake doll - especially some of the now retired ones. I am self taught and I have learned many new skills and ways of making my dolls look more realistic as the years have gone by. Making these dolls is a relaxing hobby to me and that is why I am maybe not as well known as many artists, who have successfully made this lovely hobby into their career....

I do sell dolls from time to time but only here in the UK....this is just to replenish my kits and supplies so that I can continue! I also make for friends or family and nursing homes.
