Can't wait to see you on the The Arts Barge next Saturday!! Your possibly last and definitely most floating chance to see HILDEGARDeners in the York area (and be inducted as a HILDEGARDener...). Link in comments.

On 26th June we are heading into the soft-treading woods of the Free Range Kitchen Yorkshire for something completely different!

It’ll be a Midsummer(ish) night and you know who’s dangerously close by us around that time: the Old Ones, the Sidh, the Tuatha de Danaan. Some people unwisely just call them ‘fairies’, but they’re not nice - you know that.

We will bring storytelling and songs, around the fire, from ancient Ireland and from last summer’s adventures.

We’re not going to be purist about it. Cath’s Irish, Gemma is a bit Irish, most of the stories and songs will be Irish, and let’s see where we get by the end of the night. Seasonal snacks from the fire and bowls of something warm and tasty will get passed around, we’ll all have a few drinks, and with any luck you’ll all be singing along.

6-10pm, Fri 26 June, £40pp (inc booking fee and all food) - could be quite a special treat...link in comments below. See you there.

Life is truly full of riches at the moment 💚
A weekend bookended by contrasting experiences: adding a note to an evening of powerful climate stories on Friday at Beyond Borders, then singing for a joyous tipi-full of revelers at Pool Bridge Farm on Sunday.

It's a total privilege to have a 'thing' you can bring into different circles and communities. It's the best way to get to hear other amazing performers - from the PB choir, to the tellers at Beyond Borders, to Tom Ross and his newly-minted band.

So many equally fine things coming up - including a mixed bill of acappella delights on the Arts Barge! (see comments) - do let us know if you'd like to join our newsletter for occasional updates.
