Since TRIVAX formed in Tehran in 2009, they’ve performed over 142 live shows in 58 cities around the world, including 3 shows in Tehran - their infamous first concert at Kamalolmolk in Feb 2011, where they set the venue on fire, as Shayan talked about on Metallica’s podcast.

The other two were at Niavaran Park and an underground party in Shahrak Minicity.

Throwback to exactly 2 years ago today, when the guitar tracking of "The Great Satan" began took place at a cabin up on the hill, near a local village close to Swansea, Wales.

All of the rhythm guitars, as well as the lead guitars, were quad tracked, therefore many sections of the album contain 8 guitar layers altogether.

This made it a challenging, very rewarding process.

Some parts, such as the chorus sections in "Daemon's Melancholia" include the same arpeggio riff played on 8 guitars, which took great effort, especially in the absence of an engineer, but it really served the texture of the song(s).

3 days of solitude and clear skies in the mountains, the perfect setting to capture an emotionally charged and fierce record.
