That’s a wrap on The Magpies Festival 2026! 🎬

It all started six years ago with the slightly hare-brained idea of putting on an outdoor show for our band, The Magpies, in the city where we first met. Somehow, it’s grown into something far bigger than we could ever have imagined.

We want to say a huge thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who has made The Magpies Festival happen.

Thank you to our brilliant Head Stewards, Tanja and Rich, and to our incredible team of over 100 volunteers, who go above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly.

Thank you to all of the artists, workshop leaders and everyone who brought the festival to life with their music, creativity and talent. And to our wonderful production team: Jon and the team at Synergy Audio for the sound, Scott for the lights, John and Jamie, our Stage Managers, and Blair Dunlop, our Artist Liaison.

Thank you to Lukas, Abbey and the whole team at Empty Quarter Events for their beautiful tents and all their hard work building the festival site. Thank you to Sutton Park Stately Home for providing such a beautiful setting, and to all our partners who help make the site work, from the stages and infrastructure to the toilets, showers, generators and everything in between.

Thank you to Steve and the brilliant team at K1 Security for keeping us all safe.

Thank you to all our caterers and market stalls for keeping everyone fed, watered and happy. And a special thank you to Brass Castle Brewery for running our festival bar and to Dom for managing our Festival Shop.

Thank you to everyone, family, friends and volunteers, who have given up their time to make the festival happen, not just this week, but throughout the whole year. There is a huge amount of work behind the scenes to make this weekend possible, and we’re so grateful to every single person who contributes.

Finally, thank you to each and every one of you who bought a ticket and joined us this weekend. We couldn’t do it without you!

Day 2 at Sutton Park Stately Home and the site build is full steam ahead ☀️

Empty Quarter Events have been working hard putting up tents, Waterland Events have delivered the toilets (great news for everyone working on site!) The bar is all set for Brass Castle Brewery and back at festival HQ the ticket lists have gone to print 🎫

If you’ve missed out this year, we’re really sorry. As we don’t offer refunds (except in exceptional circumstances), we don’t expect to have any further tickets available and we won't be selling tickets on the gate, so please don’t travel to the festival without a valid ticket.
