TOPS is still looking for a decent moody actor/singer to play the brilliant role of Jud Fry in Oklahoma later this year, directed by Daniel. I played the role at Richmond Theatre in 2002 when Summer Strallen was Laurey and Peter Beaven was Curly. I loved it. Nice and dark.

I'm back, after some much needed down time with our youngest, Jack, who is in the cast of 'We Will Rock You' on board the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Anthem of the Seas.

So, now I'm rather keen to book your vocal reel recording slots so I can reduce my massive credit card debt!

I hope everyone has had a fab weekend!

On Friday evening I had a great time recording a duet with two fab ladies - Ruby and Abi. It was a great opportunity for me to practice recording multiple people with one mic and the results were excellent! Actually, a couple of weeks ago I was able to record Alex, Charlie and Ellie singing some backing vocals for a couple of Detronics songs (my band with old friend David Dent). Suffice to say, the equipment worked very well, the singing was wonderful, and the new vocal room (very much a work in progress) proved a success!

I've started re-uploading a load of songs to Instagram now that I've learned how to properly create reels and crop the cover pics! I'm uploading most of the individual songs, rather than the edited reels as that's what people are telling me they want to hear.

I'm completely booked up for the next seven days straight and next weekend I'm looking forward to filming live peformances for PPA and WestWay, rather than recording vocal reels. Because I'm going to be away from the studio for a week, I'm taking a portable recording set-up with me, so I can see whether it's practical to offer reel recording on location. I'm hopeful!
