I have so many words to say but the most important are THANK YOU 🥰 It was my second year at Great Northern Contemporary Craft & Art Fair Manchester Craft Show and somehow it was even more magical than last year! ✨

Thank you so much to everyone that took the time to stop by my stall and explore my work and an even BIGGER thank you to those of you that gave me the honour of spending your hard earned money on my ceramics! ❤️

Let the countdown begin! 🥳

I’m honoured to be showing my ceramics at my second Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair Manchester this October 🤩 I had such a wonderful time last year and met so many amazing people I can’t wait to be back again.

I said goodbye to this very special commission last week 🤍 I had the honour of creating this urn and vase set for a puppy, Herbert, who sadly passed away in October last year.

Herbert’s favourite walk was through the beautiful woods beside their home 🌳 and so the trees which hold so many happy memories of him seemed like the perfect setting for the design. I painted three scenes around the urn of Herbert playing in amongst the trees, chasing pheasants, meeting muntjac deer and resting under the safety of the wood’s branches. His pawprints 🐾 take you from scene to scene along the bottom of the urn before travelling across to the vase.

I don’t think I have ever created something so meaningful before. The final glaze firing was definitely one of the most stressful I’ve done 😅 but thankfully both pieces made it out safely.

When I delivered the pieces to their home, we went for a walk through the woods beside their house and it really meant so much to be able to walk through one of Herbert’s favourite places. To do his favourite walk and fully experience the woods that I had heard so much about and that Herbert had loved so much was so special. 💕

I had the honour of meeting the very talented Alex Harley and having my pots & me photographed 📸 at this month’s The Frome Independent ✨ and I couldn’t not share these wonderful snaps with you!

Thank you so much for these amazing photos Alex, I really appreciated you stopping to chat and I’m very touched you wanted to take photos of my work ☺️❤️ I really struggle to find time at events to take many photos of my pieces, and being a clay creative and very much untalented with a camera 😅 I really appreciated having such high quality photos to finally show my pieces at their best 💕

I won’t be at next month’s October market but I will be back in November and December so hope to see you then! 💕 In the meantime, don’t forget you can always message me about any pieces that you’d like to give their forever home 🏠 and I can post them to you directly 💌
