HOW THIS ALL ENDS by Jamer Murray - 2026 electro-pop version of 1980s original. The original version of this meandered around a bit and never really became a structured song, but I always liked the musical core and the main synth and guitar parts.
This 2026 version retains the vibe of the original and the featured elements. There's also a revised lyric that adds coherence. It remains somewhat enigmatic, with the main synth parts in direct contrast to the general theme.

New lyrics written 2026 to a straightforward musical structure from yesteryear.
This song has passed the 'Supermarket Car Park' test – sit in car, windows down, with a song playing at a moderately loud level, and simply look at the reactions of the random passers-by... If anyone starts dancing you know it's a real winner!

DO NOW - 60 second jam session to song. Only took 46 years...
In my band days, we used to sometimes just jam with an old Ferrograph tape machine running. There were some nice licks together with some odd timing errors on the original 'Do Now' jam, SUNO has tidied everything up but kept the essence and instrumentation of the session whilst extending it to suit the new lyrics.
There were no lyrics on the original so I wrote some simple bluesy lines to suit the music.

I want to give all my old demo songs a new lease of life. No band on hand. My musical performance ability is limited. Tried samples and loops via a DAW - great for EDM, but tedious and invariably unsatisfactory (often impossible) to actually form into a 'normal' song structure.

So I've turned to SUNO AI. No apologies needed. It lets me feed in old songs and lyrics - even 60 second jam sessions - and will output a passable rendition of what it considers that song is supposed to do. With further - often musically detailed - instructions, the results can be surprisingly good.

Then download each stem into my DAW, full remix, commercial quality version of song that would otherwise have never been heard again.
