Ooooh I do love this part of the kiln firing, when the glass has reached its hottest point and I need to bring the temperature down a bit to stop it melting any more. It's called flash venting and all the glass glows a gorgeous hot red/pink colour.... no matter what colour it actually is

I'm planning on doing a selection of different flowers for people to buy, any suggestions?
I'm so happy I found garden stakes with leaves attached, they work really great with my sunflowers.

I ran a really great Intro seaside picture workshop last Saturday, and these are the gorgeous results. I had such a laugh with the two ladies, it was so much fun. I sometimes wonder at my fortune in choosing this crazy arty life as my career.

The top one is on artificial light, the bottom left is pre fired and the bottom right is in natural light.
