Really happy to be providing all the sound equipment for Harrington Marina funday 26!
It’s going to be an amazing day!
Its looking good… 👀
Over the weekend we held our final committee meeting for this year's Funday and safe to say, everything is now falling into place nicely 🙌
We also had a pretty big meeting last week with a very exciting surprise lined up… but that one’s staying under wraps for now 🤫 (there’s a chance they might get called into work Friday evening, so we don’t want to jinx it just yet!)
Honestly, this year is shaping up to be the most diverse event we’ve ever had and this is just a snippet...
🚒 Cumbria Fire & Rescue cutting up a car
🪚 Live chainsaw carving demonstration
🐐 Goats (yes… actual goats!)
🎶 Live music
🍔 Loads of vendors
🍺 Bars
🎡 A fair
🚤 And the biggest line-up of boats Harrington has ever seen (if duty doesn't call)
We actually have 5 pages of paper with different vendors/ exhibits, far too many to list on here 🤯 maybe stick some more vendor spotlight’s out the next 2 week why we start getting more and more posts out.
Because there’s that much going on, we’ve actually had to put together two full schedules - one for music and one for demonstrations. There really is something for everyone this year!
We know there’ll still be a few people asking… “where’s the greasy pole?” 🙄
Trust us, it’s been discussed! We’re already looking into funding and insurance to hopefully bring it back next year… but for now, you’ll just have to manage without it 😂
Now, on a bit of a downside…
It’s been brought to our attention that some people have been speaking to vendors and trying to steer them away from our event, saying to attend another instead because it’ll be “better”.
At the end of the day, we’re not getting dragged into that.
We’re doing this for the community, for the charities involved, and for everyone who comes down to enjoy the day.
Last year’s turnout speaks for itself - so we must be doing something right 💙
Roll on the 29th 👏
