Here they are! In the video, you can see the results from my latest test tiles, and I couldn’t be more excited. It feels a bit like picking up stones for new jewellery designs discovering unexpected treasures and possibilities.

The base glaze is the same throughout, but I played around with the oxide percentages to create different colour variations. I was especially hoping to achieve that warm amber tone and a denim blue and I made classic tenmoku glaze as well and called that one rediscovering tenmoku as I have had to chance one ingredient inside but looks fine to me very tenmoku glaze so they turned out exactly as I imagined.

These beautiful colours have me dreaming about expanding my clay body range even further. For now, they’re full of potential, and I can’t wait to see what they eventually become…

That is a new one! My bestselling, most-loved green glaze paired with black clay, I hadn’t tried that combination before, and I absolutely love it.

And those test tiles in the background… ohhh, I can’t wait to share my new glaze tests with you! Some of them turned out reallllyyy nice. ✨

Here’s me and a quick video of the making process for this giant (well… not really giant, but definitely quite big for me!) around 4kg really pushing my boundaries beyond making cups and smaller pieces. I quite enjoyed it, although my hands are definitely aching a bit now.

This is just one part of the piece, which will hopefully become a vase in the end 🤞

Playing with surface, brush, and this dark blue glaze, long, continuous stripes flowing across the form. It feels like drawing an endless ribbon on the surface; if I could, I would carry it beyond the rim as well. I need to make more of these. That’s exactly how I feel right now.

First time I've crafted jugs this size and I'm absolutely thrilled. I'm working with Staffordshire clay, which has a unique feel compared to my speckled clay - the plasticity and smoothness are amazing. I hope you enjoy to look at it too.
