The diary is starting to fill up! 🎈

As we head towards December and the busiest part of the year, my availability is getting a little tighter. The more notice you can give me, the more likely I am to have your date free, especially for those busy weekends.

Even when you know how it works, you gotta admit that it's cool! This is one of those tricks I love showing kids before the show even starts to get them excited! They usally say 'AGAIN!'

One of the first things I learned as a balloon twister? Never assume you know which colour a child wants. 😂🎈

You might think flowers should have green stems and giraffes should be yellow... but children have wonderfully creative imaginations, and I've learned that sometimes the best creations are the ones I'd never have thought of myself.

Part of the fun is letting children take the lead and watching their imaginations come to life. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Being a children's entertainer is so much more than turning up with a magic wand and a bag of balloons. 🎈✨

Of course, performing is my favourite part, but there are so many other jobs that happen behind the scenes to make each event run smoothly.

There's practising new tricks, learning new balloon designs, answering enquiries, planning shows, creating content, editing videos, washing costumes, maintaining props, restocking balloons, loading (and unloading!) the car, travelling to events, and, of course... the admin.

Every part plays a role, even if some jobs are definitely more exciting than others! 😂

What I love most is that no two days are ever the same, and I genuinely wouldn't have it any other way. What's the best part of your job (or the worst XD)?

If you've ever seen me balloon twisting, you've probably heard this speech... more than once. 😂🎈I just want every balloon to make it safely home!

A few top balloon survival tips:
🎈 Hold it up in the air.
🎈 Be gentle..
🎈 Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from anything sharp.
🎈 If you look after them, they will last days and days!
