Lets Make a Musical

Lets Make a Musical Annual musical theatre workshops for school age children. There are two workshops. For ages 8-13 we run LET’S MAKE A MUSICAL!

The Musical Theatre Factory was formed in February 2000 by Michael Gyngell to run a series of improvisational workshops for school age children. These are held annually in HENLEY ON THAMES, (on behalf of The Henley Festival Society) and in SOUTH WOODFORD. In just FIVE days students rehearse and devise an original ‘mini’ musical the week culminates in a staged performance on the final afternoon for

friends and family. For ages 13-18 we run LET’S MAKE A WEST END MUSICAL! Over SIX days, students rehearse an abridged version of a WEST END musical. (Previous titles include - WE WILL ROCK YOU, GLEE, SUMMER HOLIDAY, HAIRSPRAY) This is then performed in the Deaton Theatre at Forest School
