We are offering a workshop with these two fabulous performers before they head off on their new performing contracts.

Leah will be heading to Miami for rehearsals in July before boarding the Royal Caribbean as a dancer.

Joe will be leaving for Paris at the end of this month to kickstart his career as a leading acrobat in the Moulin Rouge Paris.

We are giving you all this amazing opportunity to learn show choreography, technique and more in both performers specialised disciplines.

If you want the chance to be a part of a competition team, participate in annual shows in a theatre setting and take BATD exams- then book your trial today! *All students at Starrocker Studios are given equal opportunities*

Drilling that technique 💪🏼

Technique sessions are currently focussing on pirouettes and the science behind them. It is so important to understand how to turn in order to execute clean, strong turns.
• Students now understand placement
• Ankle, core strength/stability is improving
• Understanding of pelvic tilt and centre of gravity
• Clean turns are being executed

Everyone can turn but we are training students to cleanly execute numerous turns with a solid foundation 🔥

Have you considered TDCI championships for your students ? The Theatre Dance Council International are the only recognised championships in the Uk. We have decided to bring this opportunity to the South of England as most of the events are held in the North of the country .
The winner holds the Essex title for one year and gets the chance to compete in the final in Blackpool against the other regions of the UK.
We have sections for Juniors 10-13 in tap ballet modern and seniors 14-17 in tap ballet modern . They are extremely well organised and have bona fide qualified adjudicators recommended by the TDCI .

We are happy to announce that we will be holding the TDCI Essex championships this year.

Championships are an opportunity to win a title for your region that you hold for one year. If you win in your region, you’re then invited to the regional finals in Blackpool to compete against students from all over the country.

In order to enter you must obtain a championship card from the TDCI official website where you’ll also find all relevant information regarding the championships. You’ll also be able to view photos from past finalists and winners.
