A few weeks ago our HDA comp kids and their families started the journey to our first Its a Kind of Magic weekend comp!

What a weekend it was! The atmosphere was wonderful! Lovely judges, a special place for teachers to sit, great photographers, a host that cared about every individual dancer and much more!

Our students thoroughly enjoyed a weekend away with their friends and hanging out with people that they wouldn’t normally as they’re not in the same class at dancing! It was truly wonderful to see everyone bonding 💕

We are so proud of every dancer and hope that they are proud of themselves too!
Getting on the dance floor infront of judges is not easy and you all performed amazingly 👏🏼🥰

Student success! 💛🖤

And this time it’s the success of a whole class! 👏🏼

Last October our intermediate musical theatre class took their first ever performance exam.
Live singing, dancing and acting under the watch of an examiner.
Their performance was outstanding! 👌🏼

Not only did they earn highest score of the day but they were also nominated for the Musical Theatre Awards 2026! ♥️

The next step was to be filmed performing their chosen song & dance exactly as it was in the exam,

then we waited…

After what felt like a very long wait we have found out they have made it to the finals! 🥳

This is a massive achievement to be chosen from many applicants.

Miss Hollie would like to thank Miss Pippa and her intermediate musical theatre class for all of their hard work, without hard work, dedication and determination this would not have been possible.

Miss Pippa would like to thank Miss Hollie and her class for trusting her vision! Without her class listening to every fine detail and direction this achievement would have been a dream not reality! 🥰

Well done! We can’t wait to see you perform it at our 2026 showcase in June 💛🖤

5 years ago, we opened our doors with a dream, a lot of passion, and a love for dance ❤️

Today, we are so proud of how far we’ve come.
From those very first classes to the incredible dancers, friendships, and memories we’ve built along the way, it’s been an amazing journey.

To all of our students who have walked through our doors you have helped shape who we are, and we couldn’t be more grateful for our wonderful dance family.

And the best part? We’re only just getting started ✨🥰

We’re so excited for everything the future holds, more growth, more opportunities, and so many more moments to celebrate together.
