We’re so excited to share a special preview of “For Forever” with you… A song about friendship, memories and a moment that feels like it could last for forever. 👕💙

Performed by Luke Hardy as Evan Hansen, “For Forever” captures one of those moments that feels almost too good to be true - a friendship, a memory, and a feeling Evan wishes he could hold onto forever.

Introducing Emma Wetherall as Cynthia Murphy & John Wetherall as Larry Murphy! 💙

At the heart of Dear Evan Hansen is a family trying to hold itself together while quietly falling apart.

Cynthia and Larry Murphy are grieving parents, struggling to understand their son Connor and, ultimately, each other. Beneath the arguments, the silence and the heartbreak is a family desperately searching for a way to reconnect.

Emma and John bring these two incredibly complex characters to life, capturing the love, frustration, guilt and overwhelming grief that comes with trying to make sense of something that can never truly be understood.

And in a beautiful little twist of real life… Emma and John are actually married! ❤️

Their real-life connection brings an extra layer of authenticity to the Murphy family as they explore the complicated relationship between Cynthia and Larry, alongside their children Zoe and Connor.

Featuring in some of the show’s most powerful and emotional moments, their journey reminds us that grief can affect everyone differently — and that sometimes, the people standing beside us are the very people we struggle most to reach.

Zoe Murphy is intelligent, determined and fiercely protective of the people she loves. But beneath the surface, she carries her own struggles — navigating grief, family, love and the complicated reality of trying to understand someone you never truly knew.

When tragedy strikes, Zoe is forced to confront emotions she never expected to feel. As she searches for answers, she finds herself caught between anger, guilt, heartbreak and an unexpected connection that changes everything.

Connor Murphy is a troubled and isolated high school student who struggles to connect with those around him. Though Connor’s story takes a tragic turn early in the show, his presence continues to play a powerful role throughout Evan’s journey, appearing as a voice and figment of Evan’s imagination.

Olly brings this complex and unforgettable character to life, featuring in some of the show’s most memorable numbers, including ‘Sincerely, Me’, ‘Disappear’, ‘Sincerely, Me (Reprise)’, and ‘For Forever (Reprise)’.

Connor’s story explores loneliness, the desire to be understood, and the lasting impact one person can have on those around them.
