Theres still plenty of time to donate anything !
Jayne Samson Sheridan, Leo Sheridan and I are going to be trekking 21 miles in and around edinburgh trying to raise as much money as humanly possible to help Deaf Services Lanarkshire. Every penny raised is going to help in giving Deaf people the support and assistance they need in their day to day lives.
How many of you have ever had any interaction with a Deaf person? You've probably passed more Deaf people than you realise.
We take our hearing for granted, we can call the doctor any time, call shops and services, pick up the phone and have a conversation with friends and family and it all seems easy.
Deaf people can't do that and using online services is difficult for some because our spoken & written words could have a number of different meanings in sign.
Please, please, please donate as much as you can.
