And with that, Hatfield House has been cleared of everything that made the very first Fantasy Forest Libertalia.

We are truly humbled by how many fantasy lovers travelled down to Hatfield last weekend to experience the First Chapter.
A new venue means plenty new possibilities and ideas. But anything new comes with teething issues.
As always, we strive to improve but we cannot do it without your help!

Don't hesitate to fill out our feedback form and help us turn Libertalia into an even more magical place next year!

Lost & Found

From Trinkets to Tankards, our team has been operating the Lost and Found station all weekend. Many of you have already been reunited with all things misplaced throughout the festival, yet some items still remain!
If you are still missing some precious possessions, please click the link below. You can fill out a claim form, and if it's been handed in, we will reach out to return them to you!

Accessibility is one of the most important elements we consider at our festival. Which with a venue the size of Hatfield House can be a challenge.

After being unable to find a mobility scooter partner for this weekend, we have come up with our own solution! Introducing, the Mobility Buggy!

The Mobility Buggy, staffed by our amazing Purple Shirts, will slowly and safely transport those with mobility issues from one end of the festival to the other. It will work as a traditional bus, with bus stops where you can get on or off. You can find the bus stop at several locations: Top of the Cosplay Court, entrance to the train station, the Dancing Oak and the Main Entrance.

This service is for those with mobility issues only.

24 hours from now, the gates to the first ever Fantasy Forest Libertalia will open!
But even if you have been to a Fantasy Forest before, it never hurts to come prepared!
☑️ Water bottle - to refill for free at the water points spread throughout the venue!
☑️ Sunscreen - unless you want to cosplay a lobster because the weather is looking up!
☑️ Comfortable shoes - if you think you did a lot of steps during Fantasy Forest Sudeley, just wait until after Libertalia!
☑️ Earplugs - our bands are awesome! Not being able to listen to them the day after, not so much
☑️ Festival ticket - whether it's on phone or on paper, everyone needs their ticket!

Haven't got your tickets yet? There are still some available!

Don't forget to eat and drink plenty throughout the day!
That's drinking water, by the way, not mead.

Ever wanted to take part in the oldest Olympic sport? Now you can, because Hatfield House will be providing fencing workshops on Saturday!

In a 30 minute workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of the sport with the help of expert instructors. The workshops will take place in the Great Hall of the Old Palace, where Queen Elizabeth I held her first Council of State.

The 30 minute workshop comes at a fee of £12 per person and must be pre-booked with Hatfield House https://hatfield-house.co.uk/event/the-art-of-fencing-paul-davis-fencing-academy-taster-session-workshops/

This is of course not the only exclusive Hatfield House is offering to our visitors! It is still possible to book a tour of Hatfield House, where you get access to areas not part of the standard tour https://buy.myonlinebooking.co.uk/hatfieldhouse/sessions.aspx?tid=76
