We are thrilled to announce that Christopher Stell - Professor of Guitar at the Royal College of Music and founding member of the Eden Stell Guitar Duo and VIDA Guitar Quartet has become the Honorary President of the Wimbledon classical Guitar Society.

Chris has been a part of WiGS since its very earliest days, and his belief in what we do has meant the world to us. In his own words:

“WiGS brings together a whole new generation of young players at the start of their professional careers, allowing them to meet for classes and informal concerts sharing ideas on playing and teaching.”

His vision for classical guitar, both as a performance and educational force, is exactly what WiGS stands for, and we are truly honoured to have him leading the way with us. 🙏
