Parrot Fashion …a tendency to paint parrots no1 “purple parakeet” 2026.

Has its stylistic roots in the banyan tree at turtleback drive Grenada and the fact that we used to see the sun and the moon at the same time .

Really its a painting about “ keeping an eye” on my parents and being a good son . The circuitous nature of life all things being interconnected and a love of purple.
Deep and shallow ; just like me 😘

Is a flattened version of “big wave come”
This canvas covered part of my desk in the caribbean when I re started to paint in 2019 ( son no1 left home and son no2 born 2 years later! ) and got cut up as packing when we sailed back to the UK in 2025 to rejoin family . I found it in the loft in the bottom of a box and this happened ! 😃

Note to self :Decided to do Turps Banana course to figure out where I might fit in this last dance for humanity.
