Founded by Marziyeh Ramezani in 1993, Faam Gallery has organised over 231 group and solo exhibitions covering a spectrum of visual arts. Faam Gallery has also held exhibitions in Italy, Germany, China, South Korea and the United Kingdom. One of the main aims of Faam Gallery in Tehran branch is to promote Iranian art in all media by organising exhibitions and Expos around the world. Among notable f

estivals of Iranian art organised by the Faam Gallery was the First Iranian Contemporary Artists Movement. This festival forged a ground-breaking collaboration between artists and the private sector who came together to support the development of art in Iran and to honour Iranian masters such as Master Mohammed Javadipur. Faam Gallery’s exceptional efforts to showcase Persian artists and their work earned the Gallery a silver medal in China in 2005, followed by a gold medal in 2006 awarded by China Expo. In 2007, at an exhibition in Seoul, Popular Persian Painters, Faam Gallery’s aims and achievements were officially recognised in the award of a Certificate for consistent effort in promoting Persian art to worldwide audiences. Faam Gallery has also worked to introduce Persian art and culture to younger audiences by holding exhibitions and festivals for children, and organising creative workshops on themes such as Persian Myths and Identity. On December 2016, Faam Gallery started its activities in London through hiring venues and organising series of annual exhibitions and competitions - promoting international and Persian artists. Many of which includes the annual competition of 25 Centuries of Persian Architecture, A-Z Exhibition and Persian Motifs in Jewellery competition. On 27th of October 2019, Faam gallery opened its permanent second branch in Whitton, Richmond under the leadership of Marziyeh Ramezani and with the support of private investors and art collectors. The "Exhibition 26' which promoted a selection of well known artists including Manouchehr Niazi, Ali Reza Karami, Einoddin Sadeghzadeh and Davar Yousefi marked and celebrated the opening of Faam in London. Mike Beare
Biography

Mike Beare was born in 1943 in England. He pursued his studies in Design at Twickenham Art College and much of his professional life was dedicated to serving as a Designer/Illustrator for a number of top London Advertising Agencies. At the age of 30, he founded his own Design and Illustration Company and continued painting for pleasure. Following a successful advertising career, Mike redirected his focus to his love for fine arts and commenced teaching watercolour, drawing, and mixed media for Surrey Council.

His artistic journey took an intriguing turn when a friend approached him to paint a classic car. The resulting masterpiece generated considerable interest, leading to numerous commissions and his collection of beautifully drawn classic cars.

Zahura Sultana
Biography

Zahura is a London based artist who was born in 1952 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. After a career in accountancy, she pursued Fine art and in 2013 graduated with Masters in Fine art from Wimbledon College of Arts. She later did Foundation in Art Therapy from Roehampton College and now paints full time from her London studio. Thorough the years, she exhibited in many art galleries and her paintings are held in many private collection, including The Surrey Institute of Art and Design University college. Having worked in oil for many years, Zahura’s approach to watercolour has an unique aesthetic. Strong bold marks juxtaposed with very delicate strokes, respecting the character of the medium itself.

Zahura is drawn to the ‘human-flower’ interaction, and how this echoes the role of motherhood. Psychologist Donald Winnicott references transitional objects. For Zahura, flowers provide comfort and security. Flowers are sensory beings with diverse textures, scents, and hues. Like a child, flowers respond to nurture. Their beauty and fragility need care in order to blossom; in return their existence fills you with love and gratitude.

In this collection of work Zahura is working in watercolours, drawing her inspiration from seasonal flowers.
