Hello all, Chas Stan Farley here from Whitby Soul Club. Well, what a month July ‘26 has been with over 1 million views on our page and a big increase in followers taking us to over 4,650. Welcome to you all.

Such has been the interest in the Abbey Wharf, Whitby soul weekend this year, we’ve had a couple of reels from the event with over 100,000 views each and three more with over 90,000 views each.

On a more personal front, as I approach 70 later this year I feel the time is right for me to step back from the joint running of things, from the end of August, and put all operations back into the more than capable arms of our founder, Marc James. I’ll not be too far away to be able to give Marc a helping hand from, time to time, so I hope to see you at an upcoming event or two.

Many thanks to you all for the support you have given to Whitby Soul Club, and to me personally, over the past few years, it’s been a great ride.

The end of a wonderful soul weekend in Abbey Wharf, Whitby. The staff are on the stage at the back of the photo so you need to zoom in to see them. I would just like to give my own personal thanks to all of you, but in particular to name a few who have been a great support to me over this weekend and previous ones - from the top, Paul, George, Ed, Mark, Alison, Sophie, Jenny, Oliver, & Josh, plus the Security Team, Derek & Tracy….. you’re all stars and need to give yourselves a big pat on the back for keeping things going smoothly right through from Thursday evening to the early hours of Monday morning…. love to you all ❤️ And finally to my Whitby Soul Club colleagues and guest DJs a massive thank you to you all for delivery some great sets for the soulies right through the weekend 👏👏 love to you all too ❤️
