The new Mayor of Weston-super-Mare! ✨

This time last week, some of our members had the honour of surprising Society members and newly elected Mayor and Mayoress of Weston-super-Mare, Owen and Lynda James with a special performance at the Mayor Making Dinner.

Owen and Lynda had no idea what was coming, and their reaction made it a truly unforgettable and emotional moment for everyone in the room. ❤️

Our members performed a selection of songs from some of Owen’s favourite productions, as well as shows he has appeared in with WOS over the years, making the surprise even more personal and meaningful.

A huge congratulations to Owen on becoming Mayor of Weston-super-Mare. We know he will be fantastic in the role! 👏

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Weston-super-Mare Town Council for giving us the opportunity to be part of such a special occasion.
