The box office opened this morning and one show is already SOLD OUT!

Get in quick if you want the chance to see this wonderful show, written by Sandi Toksvig and directed by Janet Clark 🎭

This is a hilarious comedy which tells the tale of a group of five extraordinary-yet-forgotten women. They are residents in the Silver retirement home in Gravesend. They come together one treacherous stormy night to create The Great Escape – senior citizen style when a storm causes a flood in the home. But with no rescue team in sight, the ladies realise that in order to survive they must do what they have always done – do it themselves.

Audiences should be aware that the story includes adult themes and strong language.

Matinees: Sunday 27th September and Saturday 3rd October at 3 p.m.
Evenings: Monday 26th September to Friday 2nd October at 7.30 p.m.
From 2026 our evening performances start at 7.30 p.m. (no longer 8 p.m.)

Theatre 62 is proud to announce that our December show is 2:22 A GHOST STORY, the acclaimed recent West-End hit; written by Danny Robins (writer of BBC’s Uncanny and The Battersea Poltergeist) and directed by Robert Chambers.

Come along and try your hand to be part of one of our fabulous shows. It’s a great way to meet new people, help out your local community and scratch that secret acting bug you’ve always had 👀

We have a busy summer ahead of us here at Theatre 62!

Kicking off with our guest production of Ghost Light, tickets available now from the box office and ticket source 🎭

We’ve got our Summer Social event at the end of July, which will be a nice opportunity to get together, have some food and drinks and catch up on all our summer gossip (and a sing song if there’s enough w**e involved!) 🎶

Then we round off a busy season with a training weekend. Open to all who are interested in how T62 keeps us busy - with workshops on set design and build, costume and wardrobe choices and of course, our lighting and sound set up!
