Busted Vs McFly - Pre Production Development

Here are some of the very earliest production design proposals which began development in mid 2024.

The initial concept and stage plan focused on the diamond shaped stage and a monolithic structure full of lights - cut down to a smaller more tourable concept as seen here.

This first design was planned before the tour was announced and once an idea of the true scope was in place a revised plan came to fruition; including a larger vanish wall header and returning back to a full complement of fixtures overhead.
Budget allowed for the addition of automation, splitting the overhead rig of washes into 4 distinct and independent elements.

The moving elements we choreographed in production rehearsals to match our design ethos and programming. Pyro hits, flames and canons were coordinated by us to make the most of the various products and maximise the visuals of elements like waterfall sparks and gerb hits.

The main LED wall upstage had been planned to split for reveals but this was adjusted when automation was introduced to use the header screen dropping to stage height as a hide to switch bands and layouts around.
