Last Wednesday at Ladden View Care Home was a truly special milestone for usā€”it was our very first trio performance as ACE Resonance! šŸŽ¶šŸŽ¹šŸŽ»šŸ„
We couldn't have asked for a more magical debut. The energy in the room was incredible. Almost everyone picked up a percussion instrument to shake and clap along, and the sing-alongs were genuinely beautiful.
There were some deeply moving moments, too, with a few tears of joy during the golden classics and so many warm smiles. Having the residents ask us to come back very soon filled our hearts completelyā€”and one gentleman even asked if he could have one of our uniform T-shirts! ā€”Ahaha, absolutely! Weā€™d be launching our official merchandise very soon. šŸ‘• Watch this space! šŸ˜‰šŸ˜‚
This is exactly why we started ACE Resonance. Thank you to the wonderful staff and residents for making our first trio session so unforgettable. We can't wait to return! āœØ

šŸŽµ First session with Elliscombe House in Wincanton.
Twelve residents, the Orangery, one request: ABBA.

What struck us most wasn't the perfect performance ā€” it was the moment a resident who hadn't spoken much started tapping along to a harmonica line. Then they were all singing and clapping.

That's what music in a care home actually does. It doesn't entertain.
It reaches people.

Thanks to the whole team at Elliscombe House for welcoming us in.
We'll be back.

First week of ACE Resonance underway. Last Friday at Rossetti House in Frome ā€” 13 residents, mixed profiles, wheelchairs, full participation. We got to 'Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da' and the room came alive. Residents who'd been quiet suddenly clapping along, singing the chorus. That's the moment we do this for. Grateful to Eva and the team for the welcome. More to come. šŸŽµ

We've just launched ACE Resonance ā€” a structured live music reminiscence programme for care homes in the Somerset area, based in Wells.

We're not just a performance act. Every session follows a structured arc with interactive reminiscence prompts and live percussion participation ā€” and we leave a written Resident Response Record after every visit, which you can file directly as CQC meaningful activity evidence.

We're offering our first 3 introductory slots at no charge ā€” completely free, no commitment. If your residents don't engage, you owe us nothing and we won't follow up.

We carry full DBS (both performers) and Ā£5m public liability insurance.
