What a fantastic evening at St. Mary’s, Marshalswick!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along last night and made it such a wonderful concert. A fantastic audience, a great soloist and a varied programme made for a really enjoyable evening!

Special thanks to Ian Graves for putting together the programme, to all the deps, and to the team at St. Mary’s for all their help and support.

A special mention, too, for our Development Band, Brass Beats, who gave a great performance under the direction of Martyn France. Well done to everyone involved! 🎺👏

An evening of brass, music and autumn sparkle! 🎺🍂

Join The Watford Band at St Mary’s Marshalswick Church, St Albans, AL4 9QA on Saturday 17 October at 7.30pm for a warm and entertaining evening of brass music.

We’ll be bringing you a programme of favourites, classics and cosy musical treats – the perfect way to celebrate autumn and enjoy an evening of great live music.
Come along, get cosy and fall into the music.

That’s a wrap on our bandstand season!

Yesterday we played our final bandstand concert of the season — and what a lovely way to finish, right here at our home town bandstand in Cassiobury Park, Watford.

A huge thank you to everyone who has come along and supported us throughout the season.

A special thank you to our soloists Karen, Ken, John, Jordan, Alison, Simon and Robbie.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to all our deps who have helped us out, and to our Musical Director Ian for all his hard work and musical direction.

It was also great to have a performance from our Development Band, BrassBeats, led by Martyn France. They were fantastic!

It may be the end of the summer holidays, but we still have live music at Cassiobury Bandstand this Sunday 6 September.

Come along and enjoy the Watford Band from 3–5pm

Our Development Band, BrassBeats, will also be playing, so there’ll be plenty of great brass music to enjoy!

What a great audience at Chesham Bandstand yesterday! 🎺🎶

We played a selection of music to suit everyone, from lively favourites to more traditional pieces — and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the afternoon with us.
A big thank you to Ian, our Musical Director, to the deps who helped us out, and to our fantastic soloists: Shirley, Ken, Karen, Gavin, Robbie, Alison, Simon and Jordan.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who came along, listened, clapped and supported the band. We loved playing for you!
