MAYA WAGHORN - FOUNDER / ARTISTIC DIRECTOR / CO-PRODUCER / CHOREOGRAPHER / PERFORMER

Maya Waghorn (they/them) is a triple-threat musical theatre performer, and versatile dancer & choreographer from Watford.
After graduating with a First Class degree in BA Drama and Theatre Arts, Maya’s training has been bespoke and continues in dance at Funk of the Future and Runway House.

Maya’s early career has involved working in dance theatre, immersive theatre, theatre for young audiences and stage. Most recently, they have completed a R&D project with award-winning beatbox star SK Shlomo in the Goddexes of Beatbox GOB) Orchestra, a neurodivergent, all trans+, non-binary & gender diverse singing & beatboxing ensemble!

EMMY O’DELL - PERFORMER AND SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT

From donning her chef’s hat on The Polar Express, to heartfelt performances with Maya & Friends. Get ready for Emmy to bring a whole lot of character! Graduating from Chichester Conservatoire, Bedfordshire-born talent Emmy is no stranger to the stage. She has embraced a wide range of professional work across musical theatre, immersive performance, pantomime, commercial projects, and voiceover.

Emmy is delighted to be working alongside Maya once again, having shared the stage together at Christmas of 2023. With a strong passion for making theatre more diverse and accessible to all, being part of a fringe festival is something Emmy has long aspired to do. She’s drawn to the imaginative freedom and the collaborative spirit of working with like-minded, ambitious artists to create something new. Emmy can’t wait to break into the fringe scene on Watford’s stage this year.

XANDER ESPONILLA - PERFORMER

Xander Esponilla (He/Him) is a dynamic triple-threat performer and recent graduate with a BA in Musical Theatre from Goldsmiths, University of London. He has continued honing his craft through part-time training at Runway House and the Voice Coach Academy. Since graduating, Xander has been passionate about creating original work and collaborating with fellow artists. Other than Co-Directing and Co-Choreographing Guerrier Bisous he has also collaborated and participated in the Maya Musical Collective for this year’s Watford Fringe. He is excited to show you the amazing show in the upcoming digital release!

CHARLIE PINDER - PERFORMER

Charlie Pinder (she/her) is a passionate and versatile triple threat performer from Chorleywood Hertfordshire. She trained at SYTS, Performers College and recently graduated from the London School of Musical Theatre.

Alongside performing, Charlie loves sharing her knowledge and energy by teaching dance and musical heatre to children and young adults and is also currently training with the Royal Academy of Dance to become a fully qualified ballet teacher.

JACOB YOLLAND - PERFORMER

Jacob Yolland (he/him) is a triple-threat actor-musician (with the help of his trusty trombone!) based in Oxfordshire.

Since he was young, Jacob has had a passion for performing. As a teen, he was fortunate enough to work with the likes of Jodie Prenger, Griff Rhys- Jones, and Kerry Ellis, appear in BBC/CBBC dramas, and even dabble in modelling!

He graduated from GSA in 2017 with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. Since then, his jobs have taken him all around the world: from Italy, to Canada and he Caribbean, to more local places like Doncaster and Lincoln. He got to see even more of the UK and Ireland when he toured with Blood Brothers - an incredible experience that he is truly grateful to have been a part of!

Much of Jacob's career has involved, in some capacity, working with children. From shows for babies to Theatre in Education, Jacob cinds great joy in bringing the stage to the next generation. He hopes to inspire change in young people's lives for the better, and give them memories they can cherish.

Jacob is also Enhanced DBS checked, and teaches musical theatre for many different performing arts schools. He also privately tutors, and is currently accepting new clients, for the LAMDA Musical Theatre and Acting graded exams. Jacob is proudly represented by Terence Rodia at YOU Management.

NYLA RAWLINS - PERFORMER

Nyla Rawlins (she/her) is a London-based performer and creative, recently graduated in Musical Theatre from LMA University London.

With a strong foundation in acting and singing, Nyla has developed her craft through theatre and live music, with solo vocal appearances at events like The Great Get Together Summer 2024 and Summer on Canalside at Here East showcasing her versatility. Most recently, she participated in a new musical workshop directed by Arlene Phillips and Jeremy Raison.

Alongside her creative work, Nyla teaches young children and is committed to championing inclusive, accessible storytelling within the industry. Passionate about building a sustainable career in the arts, she is focused on professional opportunities in musical theatre while exploring work on both stage and screen.
