- Performed by Maya Waghorn and Emmy O'Dell at WatFringe - Watford Fringe Festival at the Pump House Theatre.

A song that resonates so strongly with loosing hope, confidence and momentum as young adults and as artists. And serves as a reminder of all we've been able to achieve already and how much more we have to give, even when it's hard to feel it. I know it's not just us who relate so heavily to it.

Watching this back almost a year later is giving me strength as I navigate and process my current life transition and the brain funk that appears to be coming with it 💓

Emmy's enthusiasm and support for the whole Maya Musical Collective project is immeasurable with words. I am so glad that I reached out to her after two years in our own worlds and she grabbed the offer wholeheartedly. She comes with a magic that uplifts and boosts the spaces she's in. And I am so grateful she was a part of our team.

'As The Dawn Breaks' from Standing at the Sky's Edge, performed by the MMC Cast 2025 at WatFringe - Watford Fringe Festival

This time last year, we were gearing up for the world premiere of the Maya Musical Collective ✨️

Standing at the Sky's Edge affected me in a way no other musical has in a long time. We closed the show with this number and, for me, it was a moment of great relief 😅 and surreal-ness knowing that we had done it.

This show was an opportunity for us to showcase ourselves as emerging professionals and this song reflected the rollercoaster that is this chosen career pathway (and this life itself), but also encouraged us - after all our hard work - to be present in the love of music and performing and the achievement of what we created together.
