Barry

Barry is our longest standing member. He has been part of the players since our very first pantomime of Cinderella in 1984!

He has played many parts include Chorus, Dame, Baron, alot of King's and now our very own on stage SFX. What special effects will he be doing this year?.... you will have to wait and see!

Barry's wife, Hillary has always been a vital part of the players. Back when we performed in Nettlestead village hall and before technology was like it is today, Hillary played the piano for all of the Cast to sing along too. She then moved to our Prompt and helped us when we forgot our lines on stage.... which was hardly ever of course!

Marie - Stage Manager

Marie makes sure everything is where it is supposed to be and organises the team. She has been around for a while now and took on this role last year.
Marie moved to England from France 10 years ago, it was supposed to be for a year but she met a boy (Joe in Lighting) and ended up staying, lucky for us! Sounds like a love story in a panto doesn't it!

Tudor - Director

Tudor has a lot of experience in the acting world. He studied musical theatre in London and shortly after landed his first role on TV as a karaoke singer in Eastenders. He then went on to work with The English National Opera, Royal Shakespear company, The BBC and Royal Opera House.
He also had many TV appearances including Soilder Soilder, The Bill and many others.

Tudor now runs Kent Acting Studio in Wateringbury, inspiring young actors.
Tudor is known for getting great acting out of the players in our group, teaching us the skills he has learnt over the years and encouraging us out of our comfort zone. He is also known for his great creative ideas and always gives Becca (Props) some exciting tasks!

Alex, John, Joe - Lighting

These 3 guys hold so much experience we are so lucky to have them! The lighting in our show is professional standard and really makes our shows stand out!
John worked in the West end, in the New London Theatre. This is where he met his wife Celia. Celia is also a vital part of the players, she keeps everything going and we couldn't do anything without her.
Alex works in the TV industry, working on a variety of things, from 8 out of 10 cats, the world cup and currently in Italy covering the winter Olympics.
Joe also works in TV, covering things like Micheal Mcintyres big show, Ru Paul's drag race and also the current Winter Olympics. He also has worked for some professional pantomimes, but it all began for Joe with us in Wateringbury.
When you watch our show be sure to see these guys working hard at the back, pressing buttons and making the magic happen on stage!

Becca - Props + Backstage

What would we do without Becca?! She is a genius with our props, making anything and everything. Beccas props always bring magic to our shows. She always has fantastic ideas and a big smile.
You may see Becca on stage moving props around with other backstage crew. Her talents do not stop at panto , she looks after Ancient Egyptian Mummies as her normal job!
