Slightly hectic day but managed to get set up at the The Bowes Museum ! First time I’ve had a proper stand and it’s been hard work getting pieces made and framed while teaching full time!!! 🤪 Sharing a stand with Jo (super talented sister-in-law) which is super exciting! Also next to Skyline Window Shutters so it’s a proper family affair! Will be squeezing in too on Saturday and Sunday so pop in and say hi! 👋

This was an extra special make for my beautiful new niece. Fabric was painted to match the nursery and the clay flowers were hand made and added at the end. Love how it’s turned out and they were really pleased with it! 😊 (technique learnt from Emily Notman on a recent workshop)

Had a fantastic time on two workshops with Emily Notman this weekend, my Christmas present from the hubbie! First day was mixed media landscapes and second day was a fabric wreath (not quite finished yet!) A little embroidered bunny. This was a gift for a friend who has recently lost a baby. Having been there myself I know how hard it is to have nothing to hold or have to remember. This little bunny will hopefully bring some comfort as something to hold on to in memory of a lost little one ❤️

First post for a long time…..completely lost my creative mojo after being ill last Christmas. Trying to get back into it by finishing off some projects I’ve had on the go for far too long! 🤪 Finally finished a piece I’ve had in a basket for ages! Started this on an embellishing machine workshop with the wonderful Emma Wigginton a couple of years ago and wanted to finish it off with some hand stitching.
