✨ Join Walthamstow Singers for our summer concert ✨

Spend a midsummer evening with us enjoying a beautiful programme of contemporary choral music by Billy Joel, Ola Gjeilo, Bob Chilcott, Christopher Tin, Sarah Quartel and Shruthi Rajasekar. The concert ranges from a tender lullaby, to the rhythmic and lyrical four-movement Songs My Heart Has Taught Me by Chilcott, and Christopher Tin's epic theme music from Civilisation VI.

We're enjoying getting stuck into 'Resolution' from Bob Chilcott's (with lyricist Delphine Chalmers) wonderful 'Songs my Heart has Taught Me'. 🎶✨

Chilcott says "...the piece ends quietly and tonally, but of course does not completely resolve. That is the story of life." 💙💫

Walthamstow Singers is a fun, friendly and ambitious choir, and it's not too late to join us for the summer term!

No auditions, brilliant music! We rehearse on Tuesdays in Walthamstow from 7pm to 8.30pm, and are directed by Tristan Weymes.
