We’ve been buzzing this week as artwork arrives for our Summer Show ‘Where Sound Meets Sound’, launching next weekend!

If you’ve visited either our Walthamstow or Clapton galleries, you’ll know that music to us is as important as art. So naturally, we got curious… do our artists feel the same?

Let’s just say… this theme struck a chord. The responses have been electric and wonderfully eclectic - visually and sonically! ⚡️🔥

Take our brilliant cloud-magician Sarah Weedon, who’s bringing five new paintings to the show. For her, birdsong is inseparable from her practice - a gentle soundtrack as she sketches en plein air along the coast and across the Sussex Downs, where skylarks rise and sing each day. Back in the studio, it’s Vaughan Williams she often turns to - especially ‘The Lark Ascending’ - a piece that helps her stay grounded while her paintings find their shape. Can you hear it?

Join us for the Private View next Friday 18th July to see (and hear) all the artworks for yourself. Click the link in bio to RSVP 💌

Now that Sarah Barrett’s 'Wild Corners' has come to a close, our Clapton gallery has eased into summer mode. We’ve welcomed the season with a fresh new hang — a vibrant mix of summer-inspired works, big and small, from our brilliant family of artists. Think bold colours, playful forms, quiet moments, and pieces that capture the light and feeling of this time of year.

Whether you're a regular or just strolling past, it’s a perfect moment to step inside, cool off, and take in something beautiful.

As for Walthamstow - keep your eyes peeled, our Summer Show is coming very soon 👀

Just 7 more sleeps until the opening of 'Wild Corners', Sarah Barrett’s much-anticipated solo show, launching next Saturday 31st May at our Clapton gallery!

We’ve had a few sneaky behind-the-scenes previews and trust us - this is one you won’t want to miss. The exhibition is bursting with Sarah’s love for Hackney and its green spaces, and we can't wait for you all to see it! 🌿

While we put the finishing touches on the collection for its online debut, the 'Wild Corners' catalogue is already live and ready to explore. The show's two largest - and possibly most striking - pieces are 'Fuchsia Cluster I' and 'Fuchsia Cluster II', with the latter also available as a stunning hand-finished limited edition print.

Hit the link in our bio to check out the exhibition catalogue. If something catches your eye, get in touch to reserve it.

And if you’d like to join us for the Private View on Friday 30th May, there’s still time, just send us a DM!

As summer returns, so does that familiar feeling of falling back in love with London. Jayson Lilley's 'I Love This Place' captures that energy perfectly — a hand-pulled, hand embellished screen print on a vintage London A-Z, in a limited edition of 30.

There's something special about London on a sunny weekend ☀️ Drop by Artsnug Walthamstow to see this piece in the window and to soak up the atmosphere.

While our Walthamstow and Clapton galleries are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, the work never stops behind the scenes.

We've been hard at work crafting a mini gallery wall for a wonderful client who shares our love for Clare's art!

The first features 'Waterlily House & Home', 'Small Simian - Chimpanze', and 'Being Koi' while the second showcases Clare's Royal Academy 2024 piece, 'Above the Treetops' as the centerpiece, all fra.ed in beautiful natural oak.

Which one do you love the most?

Hey everyone! I’m Anya, the newbie Artsnuggler here at Artsnug and I’m so excited to be here 😃 I'm a Philosophy and History of Art grad with a passion for contemporary art. I also love all things music, travel and food. Here you can see me with my current favourite artwork - Andrew J Millar’s 'Stars Over The Storm'. I absolutely love this piece, it feels like a key hole into an alternate universe.

You can find me at the Clapton Gallery, come down to check out the beautiful artworks, and say hi. Stay tuned for some exciting things ahead!

We've had a wave of gorgeous new framed art arrive over the past couple of weeks, and while we're still getting them online, we just couldn’t wait to share one of our absolute favorites – 'Golden Leaves' by Clare Halifax.

This stunning piece captures the serene beauty of Kew Gardens, one of Clare’s most beloved spots in London, and a continuous source of inspiration for her work. The delicate, hand-gilded 24ct gold leaf adds a touch of luxury and elegance to this intricate screen print, creating the sense that the gardens are bathed in the warm glow of summer light.

Pop by our Clapton gallery to see this beauty in person, or DM us for more details. This is an AP (artist’s proof) from a now nearly sold-out edition, framed behind low-reflect glass to let you fully appreciate all the glorious detailing.

On days like today, when the world feels heavy and stuck in endless shades of grey, Sarah Weedon’s mesmerising cloudscapes offer the perfect escape, transporting us to a world of warmth, light, and tranquillity.

With each brushstroke, her clouds seem to come alive, glowing with a soft, inviting warmth that encourages us to pause, take a breath, and let everything else fade away for a while. It’s as though her work whispers a reminder to slow down, find beauty in the moment, and reconnect with a sense of peace 🌤️✨

For those who are familiar with Sarah's incredible work, you'll know that these captivating large-scale oil paintings are rare gems. That’s why we’re absolutely thrilled at Artsnug to have not just one, but TWO of these stunning showstoppers currently on display - 'Turning Sky' and 'Evening Dance'.

Click the link in our bio to learn more about them, or better yet, come see them for yourself at our Walthamstow gallery and experience their magic in person. We’d love to share this special moment with you!
