Before we say goodbye to WOW! Fest 2026, we'd love to take one more moment to thank our incredible team and crew.

Putting on a festival like WOW! Fest takes months of planning and two very busy days of hard work, but every early start, every long day and every challenge was worth it the moment we saw so many smiling faces arriving at Walsall Arboretum.
To our production team, artists, technicians, workshop leaders, volunteers, photographers, videographers, front of house team and everyone working behind the scenes – thank you. Your dedication, passion and teamwork helped create an unforgettable festival for our community.

WOW! Fest is only possible because of the amazing people who believe in it and give their time, energy and talents to make it happen.

☁️✨ Taking Flight at WOW! Fest ✨☁️

One of the biggest hits of WOW! Fest 2026 had to be our Low Fly Aerial Dance Have-a-Go Tasters: Up in the Sky! 💙

We were overwhelmed by how popular the workshops were, with so many of you stepping into a harness for the very first time to experience the joy of aerial dance. It was incredible to see participants of all ages lean, glide, float and discover a completely new way of moving.

These beginner-friendly sessions gave everyone the chance to experience a little moment of flight in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Whether you came to challenge yourself, build confidence or simply try something new, we loved watching your smiles grow as your feet left the ground.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible workshop leaders, Jamie and India, whose encouragement, expertise and enthusiasm helped create such an unforgettable experience for everyone who took part. They made every participant feel confident, supported and ready to soar. ✨

🌟✨ WOW! Fest Throwback: Next GEN Stage ✨🌟

One of the highlights of WOW! Fest 2026 was seeing our Next GEN Stage come alive with so much energy, creativity and talent! 💙

From our feel-good warm-up with Zumba with H to an incredible line-up of performances, the stage was filled with people of all ages sharing their passion for dance, performance and creativity with our audiences.

A huge congratulations to St Giles' CE Primary School, Stowlawn Primary School, Grace Academy Darlaston, St Thomas CE Primary School, Leamore Primary School, Windsor High School & Sixth Form, Short Heath Junior School, Breakout Performing Arts, Kingley Performing Arts, Connection Dance and Making Waves – DanceFest for delivering such fantastic performances.

It was wonderful to celebrate so many talented performers from across our community, providing a platform where children, young people and adults could shine. Every performance brought something unique, and it was a joy to see the confidence, enthusiasm and creativity on display throughout the festival.

🏡💙 WOW! Fest 2026 wasn't just about amazing performances – it was also about bringing our community together.

We were delighted to welcome a fantastic range of community organisations and local partners to our Community Hub, giving visitors the chance to chat, discover local opportunities and learn more about the brilliant support available across Walsall.
A huge thank you to West Brom Building Society, The Table, Aspire Achieve Walsall, Be Well Walsall, Walsall Careers Hub and Walsall Healthy Spaces for joining us and helping make the festival even more welcoming and engaging.

We love creating this little community village in the heart of Walsall Arboretum, where people can connect, share ideas and discover the wonderful organisations working across our borough.

💃✨ Oh WOW... we couldn't look back at WOW! Fest 2026 without giving a special mention to Zumba with H! 💙

What a warm-up it was! Helen's infectious energy had audiences of all ages up on their feet, dancing, smiling and moving together. It was fantastic to see so many of you being drawn into the fun and joining in with the Zumba sessions throughout the weekend.

Helen discovered her passion for dance after years of struggling with her mental health and experiencing the loss of many loved ones. Three years ago, she took the leap to become a licensed Zumba Instructor, transforming from the shy girl who danced at the back of the room into an inspiring teacher of Zumba, Zumba Gold, Chair Zumba, Zumba Kids and Aqua Zumba.

Her belief in the power of dance to improve wellbeing shone through every session. From boosting confidence and lifting spirits to bringing people together through movement, Helen created an atmosphere full of joy, positivity and community.
Thank you, Helen, for bringing your incredible energy to WOW! Fest. We can't wait to dance with Zumba with H again! 💃🎉
