July Star of the Month goes to…

⭐️ Jess ⭐️

A massive well done to this one as she continues to grow and thrive in her performing journey. When I grow up, I want to be just like Jess (😆), as she is so unapologetically herself. She takes up space in every rehearsal room and continuously shines. She doesn’t care who is watching, and she will give you 100% at all times. Her confidence, passion and drive are incredible to watch. It is an honour to have her talent in our studio! ⭐️

Jess loves to throw herself into everything she does, too. Last term, she started street dance, which she hadn’t done before. By the time the show came around, she looked as if she’d been attending that class for months and months. Her focus and craving for success are truly inspiring.

She played a huge part in our Disney performance too, taking on dance styles and being a part of the dance ensemble like it was a walk in the park 👏🏻

And when this girl acts, she ACTS! You simply can’t take your eyes off her. She draws you in, makes you chuckle with laughter and can make you well up with emotion through her authenticity when performing. She truly is a performer! She was born to perform 🤩

Well done, Jess!! Keep it up, and don’t ever stop being you ⭐️💙

August Star of the Month goes to…

⭐️ Ivy ⭐️

This little lady is more incredible than she knows!! 👀 She is a force to be reckoned with. She is small but mighty, she is unstoppable and, most of all, she is HARD WORKING.

I’ve had my eye on Ivy for a while, watching just how quickly she has been progressing. Both her confidence and performance ability have come on leaps and bounds.

Ivy is naturally an Acro queen 💁‍♀️ I am so glad she’s now one of our Acro dancers, even though she has also been a fantastic triple threat in MT. However, Acro is most definitely her calling.

She comes in each week showing me some sort of skill she has learnt by herself at home. Now, I’m not talking about a simple step… this girl teaches herself how to do walkovers, chin stands, the lot! 😆 She loves it!! And it’s so wonderful to see just how passionate she is about dance.

I did want to mention, too, that Ivy had a little bit of a war wound at Disney last month. She got hurt whilst performing. She waited for a point to run off stage and was completely distraught in the wings. I didn’t think she’d go back on 💔 We had a pep talk, a hug and dried those eyes. The next thing I saw was that she had run back on stage to finish the show! 🤩 A true performer!!

She was fine and was more shaken up than anything, but it was truly a beautiful moment to see. She was so determined to shine on that Disney stage that she took herself back on!! 💙

Super proud of you, Ivy, and the dancer you are turning into. You are going to be one to watch 👀

You are in for yet another incredible academic year full of hard work, dedication, fun and dream building. I hope you’re ready as it’s full steam ahead… 🚂👀

Less than two weeks to go to our intensive dance programme auditions 💪⭐️

Does your child want to dance competitively? Do they want to represent KPA at events and competitions? Do they want to really hone in on their dance technique and skill?

If so this programme is for them! ⭐️

Come along to our audition on Saturday 12th September 2:30-4:30pm to try out for our brand new teams! If successful your child will be placed in one of two sessions dependant on age, experience and ability. Sessions will be either Wednesday or Friday at the studio for 3 hours of intense training.

Audition participation comes with a £5 fee and can only be booked via our class manager link (found in our bio.) Look for “drop in classes” and book your child’s place asap. These sessions are proving very popular so be QUICK!

Now let’s get working hard 💪 see you all there!! 👋

DisneyLand Paris 2026 🏰🐭⭐️💙

What a SURREAL experience this was!! For the girls performing, the parents supporting and myself watching them on that Disney stage; it felt like a real life dream come true 🤩

Last week our Disney troupe finally took to Paris for their performance of a lifetime 💙 Not only did we have the greatest time ever but WOW did those girls bring it. I have never seen them perform like they did last Monday. My heart was just BURSTING with pride. All those late night and long rehearsals come together and were so worth it. To see their hard work come alive- it had us all in tears 🥲 We are so proud of each and every one of you. You went out there and showed Paris who you are!! 👸🏼 Thank you for representing KPA so beautifully too; your talent and manners made me so beyond proud.

I do just want to say a HUGE thank you to all those who helped make this dream come true for our girls! Thank you for all the donations for fundraising made by so many generous people, plus our wonderful sponsors:

It’s took a while for me to make this post as I simply found it too hard to put into words how proud I am of our dancers and just how incredible the experience was for us all. Well done Disney troupe ⭐️ I am so sad it is all now over!! Serious post show blues 🤭 for now…👀

As our new term starts we can’t wait to welcome lots of new faces at KPA!! We can’t wait to meet you all and begin the hard work (and fun of course!) ⭐️

Our free trial offer at KPA is FAB at letting your young performers have a go at our classes before making any decision. Sometimes we need a bit of help choosing what classes suits us best too! That’s why we have put together a special little offer for the month of September only, which allows students to try any (or all!) classes TWICE for free, instead of the usual one.

What better what to start the new term by giving something new a try; not once but twice! 🙌 So if you have a budding star who is aged 3-17 years, drop us a message to get them enrolled onto their TWO free trials!!

This offer is only running for the month of September and can be used on as many classes as you wish (as long as they have never trial that class before.) This offer allows any student (new or old) to try any classes they haven’t previous trialled for two weeks without any fee.

KPA’s trip to the ‘Black Country Museum!’ 🏭🚂🕰️

We had so much fun today visiting as part of our HAF summer holiday workshop!! We got up to SO many exciting things, learnt lots about our local history and made amazing memories 🤩

Take a look at some of the things we got up to 👀including:

👩‍🏫Taking part in a Victorian class, learning the alphabet backward!! Plus Miss. Kim got in trouble and had to stand at the front to be told off 🤭
🚎Taking an old fashioned bus ride
🏘️Having a look around old buildings and house. Seeing how people used to live and work back then.
⚽️Enjoying street games!
🛝A trip to the park
🔍Exploring the canal boats and trailers
🎤Attending a traditional choir practice

And SO much more!! We all had a fantastic day. All children were a delight to have and we couldn’t praise them enough for their fantastic behaviour👏🏻

What a lovely day team 💙 Roll on next week for our trip to the Zoo 🐒

All of this could be your child’s for just £5!! Yes that’s right, just £5 👀 but you have to be in it to win it.

All you need to do is select a number (or more to increase your chances) between 0-100, pay £5 and that number is yours! When all number’s sell, I’ll spin a wheel to find a winner.

All monies raised will go towards our Disneyland Paris trip. Anything made over our target will go straight back into KPA facilities and equipment.
