It costs £4000 just to lift a North West Air Ambulance Charity helicopter off the tarmac. The service relies purely on donations to operate and does not receive direct funding from the NHS or Government.

SingMe Merseyside have proudly supported North West Air Ambulance for many years so it was wonderful to perform for them again on Friday 4th September 2026 in Liverpool ONE Official for Tickle The Ivories.

It was a very enjoyable performance despite the windy conditions and we were well received by shoppers, tourists and passers-by. Merseyside Regional Fundraiser Rhianna McDermott said that 3 members of the public spoke with her as their friends and family were saved by the service. The charity also gained 2 more volunteers during our 1-hour appearance.

Well done all.

SingMe Merseyside had a wonderful time celebrating the 40th birthday of The Rotunda Community Hub at Follyfest 2026! A strong group of singers opened the event which featured various performers on stage, some great stalls plus a visit from Merseyside Fire & Rescue with one of their fire engines plus Merseyside Police brought along one of their vehicles too.

Thank you to Maxine Ennis (CEO), Laura, Norma and the team from Rotunda for inviting us along and looking after us on the day!

SingMe Merseyside always enjoy performing at Liverpool ONE Official for The Tickle The Ivories Piano Festival. A strong contingent of SingMe Singers led by SingMe Founder & Musical Director Billy Hui from the acoustic upright piano delighted the audience and passers-by with a selection of our songs and medleys.

On this occasion, we were helping to raise money and awareness for The Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals Charity (WUTH Charity).

SingMe Merseyside have just had a fabulous weekend of performances starting on Friday with a visit to Holy Trinity Church in Blacon for the Blacon Support Group Concert in aid of The Hospice of the Good Shepherd which helped to raise £1130 thanks to the generosity of the audience!

Saturday saw us at Liverpool Central Station to sing for passengers and commuters plus Liverpool Pride attendees and Chester Racegoers to support The Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals Charity (WUTH Charity). It was great to see people singning and dancing along as they made their way through the station.

On Sunday, it was a joy to go to Inglewood Manor to perform for guests as they arrived for the wedding of David and Rosa. David is the son of SingMe Chester member Dawn Dutton.

What a great weekend!
