Thoroughly looking forward to performing at this great charity event for Willowbrook Hospice at St Helens Town Hall this Friday 28th November 7.30pm. The concert will feature my wonderful choir SingMe Merseyside performing shoulder to shoulder with the fabulous Liverpoolmalevoicechoir and St Helens Concert Band!

It’s definitely not too late to get hold of tickets and support a fabulous local hospice at an event which will entertain all ages. From Bing Crosby through to Mariah Carey and lots in between, there will be something for everyone.

The second performance for SingMe Merseyside on Saturday 5th July 2025 saw us at St David’s URC Eastham, Wirral for an afternoon charity concert in aid of church refurbishment.

We delivered 2 sets of our songs and medleys with an interval during which we were treated to some lovely refreshments. Thanks to SingMe Bebington member Chris Kellett for inviting us along to her church to sing for the warm and appreciative audience. Lovely work again SingMe singers!

When it comes to iconic Liverpool music locations, Strawberry Field is definitely in the top 10! Rich with Beatles history and heritage, it was wonderful to perform on the Strawberry Field Bandstand as part of their summer festival on Saturday 5th July 2025.

We entertained visitors to the tourist attraction from all over the world and we performed, of course, the SingMe Merseyside Beatles Medley to the delight of the audience. The whole performance sounded fantastic! Great work SingMe Singers!!

The event was made even more special for SingMe Founder & Musical Director Billy Hui as his son, Toby, performed a solo guitar/vocals set in the Strawberry Field Cafe immediately following the choir performance!

SingMe Merseyside had a wonderful time returning to St Michael’s In The Hamelt, Liverpool to entertain and raise money for the church. On this particular occasion, it was a Strawberry Tea Afternoon on Monday 30th June 2025 which was very well attended!

We delighted the audience with a selection of our songs and medleys plus the first outing of a brand new 5/6 part SingMe arrangement of Pure Imagination from the W***y Wonka movie! Great work once again from a strong group of SingMe singers which was rewarded with some delicious treats following our appearance.

As we are all aware, churches run various groups to support local communities whether it be a children’s group, an activity or in this particular instance a social group. CAMEO is a group which supports people living alone in the local area. The acronym stands for, Come And Meet Every One!

SingMe Merseyside had the pleasure of performing for this group on Tuesday 24th June 2025. The performance was unusual as we included several members of the CAMEO group who are singers in another choir. They sight read many of our pieces and it was great fun to all sing together.

SingMe Founder & Musical Director Billy Hui was also delighted to see one of his former schoolteachers who is a member of this group! How nearly 40 years flies by!!

SingMe Merseyside regularly supports Christ The King Church in Birkenhead Wirral whether it be through concerts or delivering choir sessions in the acoustically fabulous environment in their church.

One of our most recent visits was on Friday 20th June 2025 to deliver a charity concert. We received the usual warm welcome from both organisers and audience members and delighted attendees with a selection of SingMe arrangements of popular songs plus our famous medleys.

The event helped to raise over £400 for the church. Huge thanks to Sue Blaylock and the church team for inviting us along. We always love supporting you!

For many years, SingMe Merseyside has supported Morrisons’s New Brighton with their nominated charities. At present, the charity is Marie Curie North West so it was a pleasure to return to the store on Friday 20th June 2025 with a great contingent of the choir led as usual by SingMe Founder & Musical Director Billy Hui from his digital piano.

Thanks to Morrison’s Community Champion, Ruth Gibson, for inviting us along again and we look forward to returning here soon!
