Sapphire Company Mondays 5.30pm – 7.30pm The Cluntergate Centre 11 – 16 years

Yellow Company Thursdays 4.30pm - 6.00pm West Yorkshire Theatre Dance Centre, Station Road, Ossett Wakefield 7 -12 years

Emerald Company Fridays 4.30 - 5.30pm West Yorkshire Theatre Dance Centre, Station Road,

Ossett Wakefield 7 - 12 years

Black Company Thursdays 6.15pm – 8.30pm West Yorkshire Theatre Dance School, Ossett 16+ years

Gold Company Fridays 6pm – 8pm West Yorkshire Theatre Dance School, Ossett 14+ years

That’s a wrap on our Summer of Creativity 2026.

It’s been an absolute blast - thanks to everyone who played a part - participants, parents, audience and volunteers

We engaged with over 60 young people and created and performed 5 pieces of theatre!

All that’s left to do is evaluate the lovely things we got up to. Here’s where you can help - if you were involved in any way either directly or as a supporter/audience member - send us your thoughts/a quote/something you noticed - it would help a lot! Either comment on this post or message us :)

We have a couple of places still available for our Play in a Day tomorrow for 7 - 12 year olds at 2 Navigation Walk, Wakefield WF1 5RH

It will run from 10-3pm with a sharing for Parents at 2.30pm
All you need to bring is food and water and make sure you have clothes you can move in

The activities are free due to funding from Creative Minds.
Open to both YTYT members and non YTYT members but places are limited so book yours asap by messaging us or emailing [email protected]

It was lovely to spend the final day at National Trust Nostell where we shared our play with parents

This group of young people have been the best team to work with
