This set is ready for a local school who approached me asking for some natural resources to introduce their smallest learners to numerals, alongside subitising dots.

These will be velcroed onto the wall so the little ones can pick them up, feel and explore them. They will be able to put them in order, match them to the correct dots, or take them off the wall to the mark making station!

I hope the kids love them when they start school in September ❤️

Bring them to TIME at 10, for an interactive story with me! It's free, and you might learn some Makaton signs, too.

Did someone say, "FREE"??

It's super hard to budget over the summer holidays, so if you need to get out of the house, come and see me at TIME this Thursday.

I don't want any money off you, just bring yourselves along and join in with some nursery rhymes, The Three Little Pigs, and hopefully come away having learnt some Makaton signs. (No prizes for guessing which animal we will be learning this week 🐷)

My ulterior motive is to introduce you to my Story Spoons, how they can be used to engage children in literacy, and hopefully pass out a few business cards. Don't panic - you won't be asked to sit through a sales pitch, I'm incredibly bad at selling myself - I forgot to even do it on our first session 😂

We're delighted to announce that storyTime with Little Years Studio will be joining us again on Thursday 20th August 10am for another interactive story time 🤩

It's happened! My son found my spoon stash, hidden in the ever present baby wipes box.

My instinct was to pull him away, but instead I grabbed my phone and captured him interacting with them.

His interest is valid! I didn't create these with quite such a young audience in mind, but as you'll see in the video, he's getting a lot out of them in the short time we sat and played.

Motor skills, attention, concentration, maths, emotional literacy, speech and language, sensory experiences. Tick tick tick! ✅

Please don't mind the state of his top, we had just had tea 🤦🏼‍♀️ (dinner for the southerners 🌝)
