About me

I have been creating art since an early age and have been a self-employed professional artist since 2014. I am also a fully qualified, practicing person-centred counsellor. The nature and values of my counselling work: empathy, honesty and connection, underpin my creative processes and artwork. I have a 1st class degree in Philosophy and Psychology which also informs my artwork, through the exploration of human experience and questions about the nature of life.

I am an entirely self-taught artist using various media including pencil work, acrylics, charcoal, pastels, the written word, photography and my main focus of watercolour painting. I have been commissioned to paint portraits, animals, landscapes and commercial pieces, amongst numerous watercolour paintings with quotes and poems.
