Here we have a raft of 15mm BEF era figures, for some upcoming club games around Operation Sealion.

Ah, yes, right... Sorry about the wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey thing....

So, here we are, travelled across a goodly portion of the planet from the Land of the Rising Sun to the home of the Algarve. And jumping forward a couple of hundred years from the medieval to the Napoleonic.

Today, we see a couple more battalions of Museum Miniatures British now masquerading as Portugese line infantry.

Who knows where (or when) we are headed next....

And so, another week winds to a (somewhat cooler and more pleasant) end. And more figures go wandering off to their fore...

Yup, there's about right....

So, as a side idea, I decided to produce a historical based chess set, using wargaming figures, having seen the utter dross being turned out where both sides are identical casts, but with a splash of different paint... (Waterloo set, using French casts for BOTH sides, and charging the earth for the 'pleasure'....)

I present to you my War of the Roses set, using 28mm Perry and Front Rank figures. (Piece descriptions in the picture comments)

Between finishing off the latest raft of Oriental types, and heading off to start some Napoleonic Portugese chaps (one needs a little historical variety...), I ambled off into the grimdark far future....
And they don't come much grimmer, or darker, than those fine chaps of the Emperor of Mankind's first Legion....
