BRIGHTON ❤️ I needed to see them for myself, I needed to tell them they are not wanted here. It saddens me that these people are being fed lies as well as spreading them, another new level of hate on top of ignorant racism. Today felt more scary than all the other times we have done this, having to stand and not let these people march in our town.

LEARNING - I LOVE learning, and have found the best way is to ALWAYS be excited about having so much more of it to do…not scared or overwhelmed! My present to myself was a weekend with the wonderful . After stalking her online I managed to get a place on one of her weekend courses. I dream about drawing, making… and now I’m dreaming about my adventure into oil painting. What a wonderful bunch of artists to hang out with all weekend… and thank you to Sara for her amazingly positive exciting teaching, I’m now dreaming of painting. Today I felt so excited about all the learning I need to do… including always to put the lid on my turps! 🤪

RAFFLE FOR SUSSEX NIGHTSTOP - We have been running a raffle over open house month to raise money for who are an amazing Sussex based charity. We have had a flurry of request for tickets and thought we would add it here and you can make a donation to the charity and we can announce the winners on Friday! Each artist exhibiting with me for has donated a piece of this work and we have donated a nights stay in our air b&b, which has a sauna and cinema screen! , so if you are feeling lucky and charitable all at the same time make a £5 donation and your name will go into the draw and announced on Friday!

SUNDAY FUNDAY - I think our busiest day ever for ❤️ The day was heavenly, and we finished it off with some singing, all my gang from .choir came to make our penultimate day flipping perfect! Can’t say what an honour it was so sing with them ! Now time to set the table out and get ready for our last day! WE ARE OPEN FROM 11, one more batch of orange cakes are in the oven and the cooler box is stacked with ice! See you in the garden for the last hoorah ! 💋💋💋💋

MAGIC -In the garden last night, thank you to everyone who has made this the most visited we have held, our fourth year has been the biggest joy! We have been shortlisted for BEST ARTIST OPEN HOUSE again, after winning last year, just makes all of us feel so over the moon, after so much hard work!
