Guess who’s back, back again! 😎

After a 2 year pause of in-person events (the pandemic didn’t treat us kindly), Rumali Roti is back with an India themed “Desi Quota” pub quiz at our favourite The Gladstone Arms. Think movies, sport, ads, food, music, festivals… but everything with a Desi twist 😉
Brought to you my quizmaster Dr. Pradyumna Jairam (he was not a “doctor” pre pandemic haha), expect to go down the memory lane of iconic Amul advertisements to guessing tunes you may not have heard in 20+ years (but are certainly at the back of some part of your mind).

Max teams of 4, but if you don’t have a team not to fear, we will team you up on the day! (Or go lone wolf, why not ;))

Rumali Roti Entertainment is back again with its next event, an India quiz spanning topics of culture, Bollywood (of course), music, food, history, and more! Test your knowledge of 90's ads (yes we can hear you sing "washing powder nirma") all the way to identifying obscure Indian monuments (that we most certainly would have been forced into visiting). ⁣

P.S. Hosted by Quizmaster Pradyumna Jairam, he promises you a combination of questions that are (a) shameful if you don't know the answers; (b) moderate "Ooooooohhhh" difficulty; and (c) completely outrageous that it's equally shameful if you can answer them. ⁣

P.P.S. We know this is a difficult time for India, and we aren't going to shy away from that. It was a difficult decision, but we thought about it long and hard and decided to go ahead with the event. *It is* Republic Day, and, we love India-related things - be it it's culture, food, rich history, movies, music, or diversity. We truly hope that this day we can celebrate the things we love about the country and look forward to seeing you at the event. ⁣
