Really looking forward my my next show in Sewing Street on Tuesday morning and I have Debby Shore as my presenter. Really looking forward to working with Debby.
As many of you will know my mother was an international novelist with over 50 books published, five years ago when she was taken seriously ill she decided to stop the book that she was writing for her publishers and instead she wrote for me a Joseph Bear story book with crochet patterns to enable the child to interact with the story with the crochet characters. After she died I felt that her legacy should carry on.
Two years ago that very book - Joseph Bear Goes Fishing was released by King Cole as a story book with patterns.
Since then my daughter, Rebecca, decided to carry on in her grandmother’s footsteps and write another story book - Joseph and the Merbear. The book again has the story along with the crochet patterns for Joseph and also the Merbear. The pattern and story book will be available to purchase during the show plus also available as a digital download. Kits for Joseph and the Merbear will be featured in the show.
To accompany this we also have a pattern booklet of crochet sea creatures crocheted in the super soft Yummy yarn so perfect to make for the children and for decoration. Patterns include Turtles, seahorse, jelly fish, octopus, fish, starfish and a small cuddle blanket.
Joseph and I hope that you can join us on Tuesday on Sewing Street.
