Today marks the end of a very successful partnership as Dont Do Mondays goes to his owner Laura Maloney to be retrained as a riding horse. It wasn't the final season we would have wished for with him only running twice, but being competitive both times. He's been the only horse I've trained to win opens both ladies and mens 4 ladies and 2 men's with Izzie Marshall, Oz Wedmore and Louise Burnell, who won both races she rode him in her only 2 starts over fences! He took us hunter chasing and even to the pinnacle and ran a blinder for us at the Cheltenham festival last year coming 7th. He's the nicest person to deal with, unless you're trying to catch him then he's less so! Good luck mondays and Laura! Xx thank you to Lyn, Chris, lisa, izzie, oz and louise who all rode him for me either racing or at home!

Some of you may remember that Monday's can be a bit of a monkey to catch...i have posted about that before.... usually when it is pouring hard and dark! Since racing has finished he is the first to the gate in the evening.... I'm thinking that he can either understand what we say or read the headlines of the racing post! He's too clever by half! 🤣🐎🐎

End of an era for Priory Racing today, we had Major Blue put to sleep at the grand old age of 26. He was an awkward old bu**er who definitely had his own opinion on life. But he gave me my first ride in a point to point and then won the members race at Aldington the following year. Thank you for your help Riverfield Fallen stock. Rest in peace old boy! X

I know that everything is very strange at the moment and we really aren’t surprised that the point to point season has been cancelled. I feel very sad for my owners this season, who have spent a lot of money for only 2 runs. And also their sponsors who again have received very little for their support. Rangers Equine Transport kindly sponsored Chris Pendry and really got nothing as he hasn’t ridden this season 😞 if you ever need transport please consider them, we need people and companies that will support local riders!
