Social history has always fascinated me - didn't know what I wanted to do when I left school so went to uni to study it. Never bothered with it professionally since mind. Unless you count my desire to tell my story and my families story. I've always been creative - ask my parents about the mess. But I love to record our lives so that my children, my childrens children and their children can look
back and say "That Great Aunt Cal was a bit of a one wasn't she? Do you remember she made Aunt Rachel live in the cupboard under the stairs?" rather than "Cal who?" OK, so that might be someone else's story but I am sure you understand what I mean. My father is our keeper of the family photos. I love them, I have photos of my paternal grandparents up on my wall. Just because they're not here doesn't mean they're not HERE. Always and forever - remember the good times.
