AWREET PALS

We're combining both the 3rd and 17th March Road To Hypespotting events into one date: Saturday 12th March!

As a result there is no Rushdown Edinburgh event this Thursday, but we are meeting in the Pear Tree for some drinks, with one Street Fighter V set up! (No controllers or sticks required!)

Hey all!

A big cheers to those who joined our Launch Party! We hope you enjoyed the night, and thanks to a big community effort we had loads of stations for people to try out Capcom's latest, with plenty of new faces checking out Street Fighter V!

And if you're still hungry for more...

We'll be in GAME St.James' Centre tomorrow from 11am, encouraging anyone interested to try out Street Fighter V. And there's a Season Pass up for grabs too!

Here's some more info, and we might just see you tomorrow!

- Entry is free
- Up to 32 people can enter
- Register from 11am in store
- Tournament starts between 12 and 1pm
- Best of 3 games, Double Elimination Format (you get 2 lives!)
- Arcade Sticks and controllers will be provided (you may bring your own, too!)
- 1st place wins a Street Fighter V Season Pass!

We're back!

Rushdown Edinburgh returns this Thursday as we celebrate the release of Street Fighter V!

We're inviting everyone to come along and try out Capcom's latest at the Counting House pub. And we'll have some extra sticks and pads for any first time players looking to get their hands on the game for the first time!

And we haven't forgotten about Smash either! Melee and Smash 4 (including the newly released characters) will also be available to play all night too,

We can't wait to see you again, and any new faces interested in checking out Street Fighter V, later this week for some games in the pub!

Rushdown returns in February this year and we'll have plenty more information closer to the time.

On the 10th of December at the Counting House West Nicholson Street from 6pm, we close out what has been an incredible year for gaming events in Edinburgh with a big salute to our most popular games and genres.

- £5 entry (£3 to pot, £2 as RDE donation) Tournaments for Ultra, Smash 4, and Melee. Entry restricted to one game per person with a 32 man cap!

- Melee and Sm4sh entries automatically join in for a £20 Nintendo Voucher courtesy of Nintendo!

- Street Fighter entries also get the burrito+ drink RAFFLE, courtesy of supporters !

- Don't leave the burrito goodness to chance. £2 entry for our Gangbeasts challenge gives you the chance to pagger yer pals and grab our other tex-mex trophy voucher!

- And nobody leaves hungry. Counting House say a big thank you for a great year with one last BUFFET, available to all that donate to Rushdown Edinburgh and pick up a drink or two.

What games are in the pub tomorrow? Well...

- With November's One Stock Up this weekend, Josh and Rid bring a Melee tournament (£3) to get the hands well and truly warmed up. 6- 7.15pm sign ups and a 7.30pm start!

- We welcome home the Scottish Ultra Street Fighter 4 Team Champions from this weekends Rival Scenes, and get right back into action with First to 5 sets across the whole evening. Test yourself against some seriously on form opponents and check out the Rival Scenes Trophy!

- Smash 4 is as always present, with plenty of consoles available for people to enjoy. Train hard, put on the items and cut loose... your call!

- We'll be playing a range of random games in the bar/ lounge before tuning into the Nintendo Direct Live at 10pm on our nifty projector screen. Yeah!

So come along, support the venue with get some drinks, support RDE with some donations, and get stuck in!

This Thursday- Rushdown Edinburgh at the Counting House Edinburgh, West Nicholson Street from 6.pm

- It's Nidhogg time, and local hero Illegal Jack's is back! £2 entry to play, with a Jack's dinner + drink going to both the Nidhogg champ and a lucky participant via raffle!

- When the Nidhogg dust settles we'll be breaking out a range of games for all to enjoy. Proper games in the pub stuff, for all to enjoy!

- Calling all Street Fighters! With a bus load of Scottish competitors heading to Leeds to represent at Rival Scenes this weekend, we host one final Lab Session ahead of the event. All are welcome to join in as we prep for the big day!

- Smash 4, hosted by RDE T.O's Yee and Declan, will be available as both a competitive tournament (no entry fee) and an all items on party bash in the bar. The best of both Smash 4 worlds right here!

- Smash Melee with a twist! In Reverse Mains, participants sign up (no entry fee) with a character and must play using their opponents choice - all in the name of fun!

- You may have noticed we're encouraging a minimum donation of £2 for the event. Rushdown relies on it's attendees supporting the gig and we hope you can contribute to keeping RDE a growing weekly success!

Tomorrow at Rushdown!

- We kill the lights and welcome all to enjoy some Halloween inspired Horror games space! Five Nights at Freddy's, Outlast, Slender and more! Spooky...

- After a fantastic Edinburgh Smash 4 performance at the epic Oktoberfist 3 we're mixing it up with some Doubles action, with casual set ups available too! 6- 7.20 sign ups. Starting 7.30pm!

- Preparation for Rival Scenes is in full swing. We'll be running Ultra in Swiss format! 6- 7.20 sign ups. Starting 7.30pm!

- The CRTs will be out in force as always. Melee is ready.
