Unfortunately due to technical difficulties, Beareoke at the lodge tonight is canceled .
We're sorry
The team has been trying so hard to get this to work tonight and unfortunately equipment just isn't playing ball .
I want to take this opportunity to thank the Eagle team for giving beareoke a home and making everyone feel included and welcome. It's a pure pleasure working with them to support and being beareoke to the community. Thank you everyone for the support.

As you may be aware some changes are happening in the coming weeks regarding Beareoke. These are not planned, but change happens for a reason - and like any change and any challenge, we will meet it head on and together.
Beareoke is more than a night - its an ideal of community that get to sing, express and be themselves with no judgement or fear. Be the best, Be the worst we welcome and cheer you on regardless.
I'll keep this updated as best I can - and you all updated. The only thing planned at the moment is Virtual Beareoke on the 8th January where you can sing via ZOOM!

Well something Special came up.. if you'd like to have one last karaoke and shindig before Christmas.. join me at the eagle on Friday from 5pm.
This Friday at Eagle from midday it’s office party time!
Off work or not come spend the day with us and forget about the daily grind and get festive.
We’ve got MoodyBear and his karaoke from 17:00 and then Gaydio’s Craig Law from 22:00!

It's been over a year since we were in the bar - and the Beareoke + The Beareoke Show has picked up pace over that year! Great to share times even over zoom and performances.
Provisional date for Beareoke back in the bar is 27th June.
The Beareoke Show will remain - but like most things - evolve to work with people and the community its heres to support!

Today, would've seen the start of GBBB23. For the first time, in 23 years, there will be no Bear Bash. As part of the management committee and community as a whole, we can not tell you how gutted we are.
Feelings of upset, anger, and frustration all abound as this event brings people together globally. It nurtures friendships, starts relationships, people get engaged, share many a special moment as the event is much more than a bunch of blokes getting together.
As a global community we are committed to the fight of covid-19. We know this is the right thing to do. We as a community are also mourning the loss of friends, many of whom supported us through thick and thin. In memory of those passed, and to show that our community is stil there we have gone virtual! We at manbears are actively looking for ways to support the community however we can in this time!
Our friends at MidsBears are hosting a zoom social tonight... Check their group for details.
The fabulous Drag With No Name will be live from 7.30 pm tonight too.
Saturday evening we are bringing you a Manbears Lockdown Quiz hosted by our own Steve and Mike! Click the event for details.
You can also catch Miss Penny - Live cabaret artiste Saturday evening too! With camp caberet and fun!
From 9pm you can see and hear James Deponeo playing on Eden's Twitch page! This legendary DJ usually opens up Bear Bash as part of the Big Scrum! So give him a listen and get in the spirit!

We'd like to thank all those who have shown manbears great support, to all the buddies that signed up (we've not forgotten you) and all those that deferred their tickets to next year - this means and allows Manbears to stay in operation and put on virtual events.
If you are alone, feeling isolated please do not hesitate to reach out to the community - the groups are all these for you - you just have to ask. More so than ever we need to show more patience and understanding on the issues of mental health - and if things are a struggle - PLEASE use the support that is out there. The Samartans - and Mind offer support 24/7.
