We’re delighted to celebrate the official launch of the new digital twin we created for Jesus College, University of Oxford.

Designed to support accessibility, outreach, and wider public engagement, this immersive experience allows prospective students, researchers, alumni, and global audiences to explore key college spaces remotely — anytime, anywhere.

The model combines guided storytelling, rich multimedia interpretation, multilingual student narration, and seamless navigation across both historic buildings and modern academic facilities.

This project is especially meaningful for us as our first collaboration with an Oxbridge college. We are deeply grateful to Jude and the whole college team for their trust, clear guidance, and fantastic partnership throughout.

We can’t wait to see this bring the college’s unique heritage and community to even more people around the world.

Jesus College is delighted to announce the launch of its new 3D digital twin – a virtual model of the college that can be explored online by anyone, anywhere and at any time. The digital twin aims to widen access to those unable to visit the college in person, for example, prospective students who live too far away, or for whom travels costs are a barrier, and members of the global academic community. It also provides a new opportunity for engagement with the general public and potential conferencing clients, using digital technology to bridge the gap between people and place.

Our first post of the year, as we return after the festive break.

Today we’re sharing a virtual tour of Youshu, Beijing, China — a contemporary guesthouse created within a traditional Beijing siheyuan. The experience offers a gentle way to explore the atmosphere, structure and everyday rhythms of this historic courtyard form, from wherever you are.

Digital spaces can play a quiet but meaningful role in helping people encounter places they may never physically visit, and in building understanding across cultures.
